King Fish Steaks & Shui Gow Soup

Better pen down my recipes b4 it's long forgotten by myself:

King Fish Steak Stir Fry

Stuffs U need:
1pc king fish steak, sliced out the meat
1stalk spring onions, sliced
1 small red onion, sliced
1pc red chilli, diced
1/2 tbsp fish sauce


Marinade for Fish:
sesame oil
a pinch of sugar & pepper
a dash of hua tiao wine
1tsp ginger powder
1tsp cornflour

How U Cook It:
1) Heat oil in wok, stir fry onions till translucent, add in spring onions & red chillis.
2) Add in marinated fish steaks, stir fry till almost done.

3) Pour in fish sauce, coat well & serve.

Shui Gow Soup

Stuffs U Need:
shui gow wrappers
prawns, devein & deshell

minced pork
water chestnuts, diced
500ml homemade chicken broth
ur choice of vegetable

Marinade for Pork with Water Chestnuts:
1tbsp sesame oil
a pinch of salt & pepper
2tsp soy sauce
a dash of hua tiao wine

1tsp cornflour

Marinade for prawns:
a pinch of sugar
a dash of sesame oil

How U Cook It:
1) Mix pork & water chestnuts 2gather in a big bowl. Marinade with above seasonings for 1/2 hr.
2) Scoop 1tbsp of the mixed pork with chestnuts onto a piece of shui gow wrapper, top it with a piece of prawn. Seal the shui gow.
3) Boil the chicken broth, add in shui gow & ur choice of vegetable till cooked. Serve when hot with rice.
